I hope summer has fared you all well.  I’ve spent much of it partaking in numerous water focused activities such as pool siding, water sliding, and lake swimming.  It has been great and much needed for my soul this year.  Accompanying me during my water sport adventures has been my 1950 hand-made baritone ukulele.  It has been my song rearing weapon of choice through the hot days and thus far I’ve completed two new numbers on it.  I look forward to sharing these songs with you soon.

In other news, I’d like to announce that I’ve signed a North American publishing deal with a dynamite LA based company called Benair Churchill.  They are pro-active licensing agents and carry a reputation of hard working peeps in the biz.  I look forward to our working relationship together.

This fall is lined up with an east cost tour in October as well as a show at the Musée d’art Contemporain de Montréal on Dec 3rd.  Visuals and the Liederwolfe Opera Collective will be joining me for the museum show.  Stay tuned for confirmed tour dates soon.

The Osheaga festival in Montreal this past weekend was time marvelously spent.  We played on the War Child Stage in support of child victims of war – thanks to all who came out and supported the good cause.  We spent the rest of the festival basking in the heat listening to such hit acts as Devo, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Sonic Youth, the National, the list goes on.  Particularly kinda neat was hanging back stage with Snoop Dogg’s possee and having dinner with Sonic Youth.  Such legends eating such simple good things with us…

Here are a few things to look out for in the ensueing months:

1. Eastern Canada Tour Dates to be announced.

2. Keep your eyes open on Musique Plus.  Live footage of us performing in the MP studio will be televised throughout the fall.

3. Dec. 3rd, we have an exciting show at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, equipped with visuals and the Liederwolfe Opera Collective

4. Two music videos for the songs ‘The Cruel of Fair’ and ‘Chances’ are near complete.  Stay tuned for their launch.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our sold out Montreal Jazz Fest show last week.  We played with exploding hearts and felt mighty fine with all of it.
